Photography has always been one of my favorite hobbies. . . What started off as an excuse to get off campus on weekends has turned into a lifelong pursuit and joy. During my time at college I was able to further develop my skills and eye as a photographer. It was fun playing around with medium and large format cameras, as well as chemicals and a dark room. Now that I’ve switched over from film to digital a whole new world has opened up to me. I now have the freedom to take pictures I never would’ve before. Cost is no longer an issue! I hope you enjoy my pictures. Each one holds special meaning to me, a memory, and I hope that through them you are able to travel with me and experience some of the things I have. The thing about photography that I like the best is the way it forever changes the way you see things. It allows you to capture the picture not only on film but also in your head, opening up a whole new world of beauty. - J.C.
